Ethereum, NFT, Metaverse: An Eternal Golden Braid

Started from BTC, colored coins, ERC20 tokens, then to NFT (Non fungible token), from the entire Bitcoin network (which can be regarded as a set of protocol networks running on POW), to thousands of ERC20 tokens running on Ethereum’s smart contract, and then to Crypto Kitties’ ERC721 token contract. Combinable protocols is the foundation, NFT is the future
We have seen the upgrades brought about by the combination and programming of various defi protocols in the development of the DeFi ecosystem. We can explore from Internet protocol to blockchain protocol, then to the NFT development.

At the transport layer of the Internet protocol (mainly TCP, UDP) and application layer protocols. We are now in a post-industrial society. The industrial society is characterized by mass production of homogeneous products. Open source is light, NFT is sunshine
Everyone knows that blockchain is based on open-source protocols. Meanwhile, many traditional industrial companies apply for some blockchain technology for patents in various countries. It has become a shackle of the development of science and technology. Many of Beeple’s works are satirized on the products of the industrial age. NFT has the inherent open-source protocol from Blockchain, and shows as the IPFS decentralized storage. Copying an NFT is very simple except for the different contract addresses.
